I was inspired to practice yoga after taking a class at a gym 10 years ago. The teacher was an older lady who was strong, supple, elegant and radiating happiness. I knew from then that I wanted to bring yoga into my life.
I initially qualified with BSY under the influence of some inspiring and patient teachers. I went on to further my skills by training to teach children’s yoga through Yoga Bananas. After having children I realised how beneficial yoga was during and after pregnancy and so I qualified to teach pregnancy yoga.
I have since continued my studies with a 200 hour course through Bahia Yoga. I have been studying the sutras and the Gita and been learning more about meditation.
I am always learning and wish to encourage others along on their yoga journey. Yoga is mental and physical . Finding stillness and strength, allowing freedom and ease-learning to let go and bringing positive change to your life- anything is possible!
